Interested in taking your fitness to the next level? Campus Recreation can help you achieve your goals through our various fitness programs and services.

Fitness Centers

We offer four fitness centers on campus.  The Firestone Fieldhouse Weight Center is our largest facility and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.  If you've never stepped foot in a gym or if you'd just like to know more about what our fitness center has to offer, Campus Rec staff can help. Call 310-506-7575 to schedule a free 15 minute overview of the three main components of physical fitness and what equipment we have available to help you in each of these areas. 

The Cage is a semi outdoor facility that is perfect for Crossfit style training, powerlifting, or American Ninja Warrior training. It has many fitness "toys" that you can only find in The Cage. Come to The Cage for the most fun workout on campus!

We have two facilities in the Towers and Drescher Residence Halls, but usage is restricted to residents at those locations or those working with one of our Personal Trainers. 

Group Fitness

We offer a variety of fitness classes for individuals of all levels. From cycling to Yoga to strength training, the Group Fitness program has something for everyone! Classes are located in the Harilela International Tennis Stadium Fitness Center (under the tennis bleachers) or in The Cage (on the other end of the tennis courts under the white canopy roofs).

Personal Training

A new program beginning in the fall of 2014, we offer two free sessions and subsequent low cost sessions with our ACSM Certified Personal Trainers.

Nutrition & Massage Services

Stress relieving one hour or half hour massages, one on one nutritional counseling, and nutrition presentations for your group are offered at low or no cost to students, faculty, and staff.  Visit the Student Health Center for more details.
