As stewards of the University's resources the Purchasing Department will educate and inform the University community as to the best options for their purchasing requests.
This department will also provide the requester the best service in procurement of goods and services within the scope of the University Financial Policies.
To perform a key role in adding value and facilitating the process of acquiring goods and services consistent with Pepperdine's mission and in conjuction with industry's "best practices" standards.
- Become the department's business partner
- Create and maintain business relationships with our suppliers
- Assist in contract administration when applicable
