Graziadio School of Business and Management
Chris Rovin is a 20-month MBA candidate pursuing concentrations in entrepreneurship, leadership and managing organizational change, as well as a certificate in Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible Business (SEER) Business Strategy. Chris grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2010 with a degree in history. After college, Chris co-founded We-search.org, the first crowdfunding charity for biomedical research, and still serves as its executive director. In his free time, Chris rides with the local La Grange cycling club and enjoys playing guitar and banjo.
Emyay King is pursuing her MBA with focuses on leadership & organizational change, marketing, and digital innovation studies. As a 20-month full-time student, she is also pursuing a SEER Certificate. Emyay completed her undergraduate studies at New York University and The Savannah College of Art and Design. She has also lived all over the country including New Orleans, NYC, Savannah, Oklahoma City, and Los Angeles. Emyay is passionate about leadership and loves working in teams to create effective changes in organizational optimization, increase personal engagement, and develop sustainable business strategies. In addition to her career aspirations, she loves to relax with friends, travel, volunteer, eat vegan cupcakes, and participate in adventure races. Emyay is exceptionally creative and enjoys anything that allows her to create "outside the box."
Nisa Fan is a 20-month MBA student with a concentration in marketing. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Nisa completed her undergraduate degree at the Aletheia University in Taipei with a concentration in economics. She had three years marketing-related work experience in digital camera industry. She moved to the United States to pursue her MBA degree in 2010. She actively participates in club activities while studying at Pepperdine University. She is also the president of the Taiwanese Student Association at Pepperdine and marketing director of the Asian Business Club. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
Director of Communications
Kevin is a 20-month MBA student at the Graziadio School. He got his BS in biology from the University of California, San Diego. After graduating he worked at a venture capital firm in the Bay Area. During his time at Pepperdine he has been involved in the Entertainment Club and has been a competitor in many case competitions – and was a semi-finalist in the international Net Impact Case Competition held at the University of Colorado in Boulder. During the summer, he interned with The Mark Gordon Co. in the television production department. In his spare time he enjoys watching TV and movies and playing video games.
Director of Alumni Relations
Frank Le is a 20-month MBA student with a concentration in marketing and is also looking to pursue the new Digital Innovation and Information Systems concentration. He was born and raised in Orange County, Calif. He began working in the electronics repair industry, in which he climbed his way up to operations manager at Datatech Depot in 2009. Shortly thereafter he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to further his career with the same organization. Frank is also an involved member of Challenge 4 Charity, where he took on the role of volunteer coordinator and was recently appointed the position of project manager for the 2013-2014 school year. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors participating in surfing, snowboarding, and other adventurous activities with friends and family.

Elmer Li is pursuing his MBA with concentrations in marketing and entrepreneurship. Elmer grew up in the largest county in the United States, San Bernardino County, California. He obtained his undergraduate degrees in entertainment marketing and communications from California State University. Prior to joining the Graziadio School, Elmer worked in the entertainment industry. His goal is to become a talent agent or entertainment marketer. In addition to his career goals, he loves to watch movies, go to concerts, relax with friends, volunteer at film festivals, practice Chinese calligraphy, cook and enjoy different types of cuisine from all around the world. Elmer is a friendly a sociable person; he tries his best to make everybody around him happy.
Director of International Student Affairs
Daisy Guo is a 20-month MBA student with a dual concentration in finance and dispute resolution. Daisy grew up in China and got her bachelor of computer science and technology in Xi'an Jiaotong University. Before studying at Pepperdine University, she worked in the IT consulting industry as a senior supply chain management consultant. She decided to return to school to start a new career in finance. Daisy likes to travel with friends, discover good food, and experience new things in her free time.
