MBA Women at Pepperdine
Shivaune Field is an MBA candidate at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, and regional director of the National Association of Women MBAs in seven states. Prior to business school Field was a journalist based in Bloomberg Media's Los Angeles bureau where she interviewed thought leaders, C-suite executives and company founders including Elon Musk, Tony Hsieh, Berkshire Hathaway's Charlie Munger, Ford CEO Mark Fields, George Lucas, Jay Leno, LeBron James and Jessica Alba among many others.
Field field-produced a primetime Bloomberg special called 'Women to Watch' featuring YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, Facebook VP Carolyn Everson and COO Sheryl Sandberg, Cisco's CTO Padmasree Warrior and many other high achieving women in the tech sector. Additionally, Field produced live and taped TV interviews with notable leaders including Disney CEO Bob Iger, Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, media personality Ryan Seacrest and musician Will.I.Am.
Field holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a broadcast journalism qualification from UCLA. She previously managed International Publicity for E! Entertainment Television. Field is a volunteer wish grantor with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles and Co-Chair of the HeForShe LA Media Summit, an initiative of the LA Chapter of the United States National Committee for UN Women. She is a certified yoga instructor and in her downtime volunteers teaching yoga to kids and teens.
