The following applications are unavailable every Sunday morning, from 12:00 am (midnight) to 12:00 pm (noon), while information is backed up.

  • Student Administration Application

Server Maintenance

2013 Server maintenance will be performed on the following Saturdays:

January 12

Information Technology performs preventive maintenance on many centrally located computer systems one Saturday a month. To minimize the impact, the work is performed outside normal business hours.

During these maintenance the following services will be affected:

EMAIL/VOICEMAIL:Email and voicemail will be unavailable 15 minutes between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

ACADEMIC TOOLS: Anywhere Storage (Xythos) will be unavailable from 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Courses (Sakai) will not be affected by this maintenance. It will be up and running as usual.

ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS: S Drive and U Drive, Raiser's Edge, Confluence wiki, Nolij will be unavailable from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

TELEPHONE: Regular telephone services will be unaffected.

Telephone System Preventive Maintenance

Every Tuesday morning between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., Information Technology conducts telephone system maintenance, tests the backup system, and cleans the storage drives. During this time, Malibu campus land line (not cellular) telephone users will lose dial tone for one to three minutes, but will not be disconnected from an active call.
