Sakai is Pepperdine's open-source, learning management system that offers faculty and students a collaborative online environment to support teaching and learning. Basic features of Sakai allow faculty to post syllabus, grades, and announcements. Some advanced features include the ability to conduct live chats, administer online tests and assignments, share documents, and more. Staff can also utilize the system to create project sites that can help enhance collaboration and communication for group work, committees, and research projects.
