Dispute Resolution Society

Purpose

The purpose of DRS will be to promote a greater understanding of the dispute resolution field in general and of dispute resolution processes and techniques used by practitioners in the field. Students will have the opportunity to learn about different types of dispute resolution processes, the growth of the field regionally and internationally, and about career opportunities in dispute resolution. This organization will provide opportunities for students to interact with leaders in the field by, among other things, inviting guest speakers to the Pepperdine School of Law campus. This organization will be beneficial to both students enrolled in dispute resolution courses and to those not enrolled in dispute resolution courses but who would still like to become familiar.
