Student Mail

Overview

The Seaver student mailboxes are located on the second floor of the Tyler Campus Center (TCC). Graduate Resident students will have a mailbox located at their housing complexes. All undergraduate students will have a mailbox on campus. Seaver students may pick up their mail during the hours from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Students are notified of letters or packages too large to be placed in their mailbox by an email giving them the location of their package. Seaver window hours for pickup of packages are 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Graduate hours are 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. for pick up at Mail Services. Mail Services is located on the DFS Pad. All incoming mail for the University and the student body is received, processed, and disseminated through Mail Services.

Addressing Mail

All incoming mail must have a student name and mailbox number included in the address. Mail Services reserves the right to open and/or return any mail not displaying a student name. Any mail that comes in without a box number must be looked up before being processed. Some delay is likely.

To ensure prompt delivery to your mailbox, all student mail should be addressed in the following manner:

Student Name
Pepperdine University
24255 Pacific Coast Hwy # _________ (Your 4-Digit Box Number)
Malibu, CA 90263- ___________(Your 4-Digit Box Number)

The use of University Mail Services for non-Pepperdine related business purposes is prohibited. Any mail addressed to a business may be returned to the sender by Mail Services.

All Seaver student mail is sorted to individual mailboxes located in the Tyler Campus Center on the second floor. Office hours are 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Resident graduate students have their mailboxes located at their resident dorms. All Seaver and resident graduate students will have a mailbox on campus. Students can access their box numbers and combo from the Pepperdine Wave net web site. Offices will use this address when notifying students of important information.

Students will forfeit their mailboxes if they leave the University except in the case of emergency. Mail Services must be notified when students leave in order for their mailboxes to be retained. Students must forward their mail if they are leaving during the summer or going overseas.

Students may mail letters, packages, express packages, or purchase stamps at the Mail Services resale window located on the FM&P Pad during business hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Limited mailing supplies are available for purchase at the resale window.

Notification Mail

Students are advised when letters or packages are too large to fit in the mailbox by an email giving them the location of their package for pick up. Pick up packages at the window in the mailbox area between 9:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., 7:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. at Mail Services and 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Central Receiving.
