Group Exercise Class Descriptions
Strength & Conditioning
Just like the name implies, Barbell Club is your weekly one stop shop for all things barbell-related. Want to improve your clean? Don't know what a clean is? This class is for you. Each class we'll focus on skills and drills in one of the major lifts—deadlift, squat, clean, press, jerk, snatch, and more. Then we'll finish up with AMRAP or volume set-style training. Whether you're a beginner looking to demystify the free weights or a veteran looking to add one pound to your 1 rep max, Barbell Club is your place get your hands on a cold steel bar. Get a full-body workout that lifts your seat; tones your thighs, abs, and arms; and burns fat in under an hour. Through the use of classic ballet movements combined with elements of isometric strength training, Barre focuses on high reps of small-range movements in order help you craft long, lean muscles. All levels are welcome, and any class-required equipment is provided.
CrossTrainFx allows you to train hard with functional movements performed at high intensities. Taught by skilled coaches who walk you through all the movements and offer numerous scaling options in order to meet each athlete where they're at, making this class available to anyone with or without experience. Kettle & Core
Experience a unique full body workout using Kettlebells. Long considered a powerful and effective training tool for maximizing cardiovascular and strength results, this workout will build power and condition your body in a way you've never experienced. Each class will end with 15-20 minutes of core work to strengthen and tone your abs, lower back, and hips.
This class is designed to teach the foundations of Pilates principles. More traditional workout emphasizing on concentration, control, breath, centering, and flow. All levels welcome, learn the basics or redefine current practices.
Fun, energetic twist on your traditional pilates class. This class is designed to use pilates principles and weights into one class to sculpt and tone. Starting the class with core and balance and ending with some light stretching to cool down. All levels welcome.
Participants will experience a total body strength and conditioning workout incorporating all of the major muscle groups and using a variety of equipment including dumbbells, weighted bars, BOSU's, partner work and more. Cardiovascular drills and resistance training followed by core work and stretching will leave you feeling balanced and accomplished. Nothing is off limits in this class.
Total Body Conditioning
Want to target every muscle group in your body and get a cardio workout? This class is for you! You'll do cardio and strength intervals using a wide variety of equipment to burn some serious calories and get strong and fit. All levels are welcome. Note special location in the CAGE.
Get energized with this moderate to high intensity suspension training class. Strengthen your core, gain flexibility, mobility and endurance as you use the TRX to create a total body workout. If class fills up you will circuit on and off the TRX with other strength/cardio based exercises. All Levels welcome. Get ready to sweat!
Push hard and sweat while laughing and having fun in this cardio class. We'll use weights as well as your body weight to created intervals, circuits, and high intensity cardio workouts! These workouts are universal so any ability level can join, and you'll leave feeling like you got an epic workout in a short amount of time!
Shake, shimmy and sweat your stress away with Dance Fit! This dance fusion class will work your entire body while giving you a great cardio workout and the opportunity to let loose. With a mix of high-energy choreographed dance and toning moves, we guarantee you'll have so much fun you'll forget you are working out!
Hip Hop Jams
Tone and energize your body in one of the most fun ways possible – dancing! Hip Hop Jams is a cardio-intense, follow-along dance fitness class where participants will get a fantastic full-body workout. Each class starts with a warm-up followed by a variety of originally-choreographed dance combos, and then it concludes with a cool down and stretching. Previous experience is not required, and all dance levels are welcome.
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training
This class has something to offer everyone - the person who is a seasoned health and fitness guru as well as the person who has never exercised and is looking to start your journey to better health today.
In this traditional cycling class, participants will experience a variety of situations including hill climbs, fast flats and everything in between while focusing on speed, intensity, and technique. A water bottle and towel are recommended.
TRX, Cycle & Core
This fusion class delivers a high-intensity cycle workout combined with TRX strength training and core exercises. The class begins by building endurance and breaking a sweat on the bike and then transitions to exercises off the bike designed to strengthen and tone your abs, lower back, and hips.
Mind / Body
Align and Flow
A vibrant blend of effective (Iyengar) alignment principle, dynamic sequencing and breath awareness. Yogis will refine alignment in foundational poses to advance not only their yoga practice but awareness in all movement modalities to improve strength, balance, mobility and mind body connection.
This style is based on the teachings of BKS Iyengar, author of "Light on Yoga." Iyengar yoga is appropriate for anyone, regardless of age, degree of health or other perceived limitations. The Intro Course is designed to provide a solid foundation for learning the basic actions in asanas (poses), developing strength, flexibility, awareness, and confidence. It is an excellent way to begin learning Iyengar Yoga, start your practice back up or to deepen it with more precise instruction. Iyengar Yoga is for every age, body type, and fitness level. You will discover a safe and systematic progression of study to develop your skills and abilities, within each class and from class to class.
Gently warm up and stretch out your body and mind before flowing through some challenging sequences that will raise the heat. Ending with some deep stretches that will leave you rejuvenated, pushed, and ready to attack your goals! All levels welcome.
Refresh your entire spirit, soul, and body to prepare you for the week in this unique Sunday night class. It's similar to our Vinyasa Yoga classes, but participants will be guided through Scripture meditations and prayers as the complete the movements.
This style of yoga connects breath and movement to create a flowing class. Postures are blended together in different combinations creating a unique experience each and every time. All levels welcome.
A restorative practice designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. Participants will passively stretch and energize the deep connective tissues of the body, open the joints, and restore alignment. Yin yoga compliments a more active practice (Yang) by improving flexibility, ease and balance. All levels welcome.
Yoga sculpt combines the breath to movement style of vinyasa yoga while incorporating light weights and cardio. Be prepared to sweat as you warm up with traditional sun salutations, build strength, get your heart rate up, work on core stability, and then cool down with longer holds and a sweet savasana. Great tunes provided.
