Recreational Facility Schedules

  Basketball Open Gym

Campus Recreation offers open-gym basketball at Firestone Fieldhouse (FFH) in the fall and spring semesters and is open to the entire Pepperdine community. No signups or pre-registration is required and equipment can be checked out of our Pepperdine Fitness Center if needed. View above for more information on equipment checkouts.

FFH houses many sporting events and campus activities throughout the year, making it tough to nail down a true, consistent open-gym schedule. Therefore, the guidelines below are meant to provide a general schedule for open-gym basketball hours during the fall & spring semesters:

  • Mon-Fri: open after 6pm*
  • Sat/Sun: mornings & evenings*

*Some exceptions apply due to campus programming primarily by athletics and campus recreation. Firestone Fieldhouse Gym will be closed during:

  • Athletics events and competitions. Visit pepperdinewaves.com for the complete competition schedule.
  • Intramural sport events. The below schedules begin three-four weeks into a new semester and run up until finals week with time off for major holidays and school breaks.
    • Fall: Mon-Wed from 8:30 PM-midnight
    • Spring: Sun-Wed from 8 PM-midnight

Note: Due to the high volume of events scheduled in FFH, changes to the schedule are not always announced on a wide-scale. For any questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact Julian Baker, coordinator of recreational sports at julian.baker@pepperdine.edu or 310.506.6202.
