A: CRM stands for Constituent Relationship Management. CRM is a business strategy and model used to effectively manage the relationships and interactions with current and future constituents. At Pepperdine University, this strategy depends on bringing together lots of pieces of information about constituents, events, programs and market trends so we can market and deliver our services more effectively across the University. And in the process, build engagement and loyalty.

Q: What is the implementation timeline?
A: The CRM initiative is a multi-year implementation with the first phase beginning on February 1, 2014 through fiscal year 2016. This phase includes implementations for all schools' recruitment and admissions, marketing, and advancement services. Second phase begins in FY17 with potential implementations for Athletics, Career Services, etc.
