Kronos Upgrade

Dear Pepperdine Community,

The Payroll Office would like to make you aware of a Kronos upgrade taking place this summer.

We are upgrading Kronos, our timekeeping system, from version 5.2 to version 6.3. Ultimately, this upgrade will result in a more efficient system and improved customer experience. Additionally, the upgrade will correct the Java compatibility issues and challenges we currently face on Kronos version 5.2.

We anticipate only a small period of downtime, two to three days, as we transition from our current version to the upgraded system. The transition will take place the last week of July; the Payroll Office will provide continued communication and updates as we proceed through the upgrade.

The core functionality of our system will remain virtually the same; however with the upgrade, Kronos will offer enhanced features, plus a new look and feel that should be a welcome change to our users. The upgrade will also allow us the capability to incorporate additional tools and features in the near future, as determined by customer need and experience.
