Ethics Committee Members
Perri Finnican is a first year MBA candidate at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. She received her undergraduate education at Gettysburg College in Religious Studies and Education. Prior to starting her MBA, Perri worked for a Public Relations firm in New York City. In addition to her studies, Perri is an active member of the Ethics Committee, Finance Club, MGBS Student Senate, NetImpact, Student Ambassadors, Challenge4Charity, and the Digital Innovation & Analytics Club.
Jack Sherrer is a full time MBA student at Pepperdine University concentrating in Digital Innovation Information Systems (DIIS) and Finance. Originally from Columbus, Georgia, he moved to Malibu in 2010 to earn his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Minor in French from Pepperdine University. As a second year student at Graziadio, Jack is the sitting Co-Chair of the University's Ethics Committee and is the President of the Graziadio Entertainment Society. After graduation, he looks forward to leveraging his background in IT and finance in Georgia, Switzerland, and California to continue to work in a cross-functional position encompassing the two disciplines. In his free time, Jack enjoys traveling, tutoring students, and going on long walks in scenic locales.
Faculty Advisor Gia Honnen Weisdorn, J.D., LL.M.,MBA, is a practicing attorney with the Law Offices of Gia Honnen Weisdorn, a firm with clients in the fields of entertainment, the Internet, biotechnology, and technology, among others. Since 2001, Professor Weisdorn has taught business law, eLaw, international law and negotiations at the Graziadio School of Business and Management. She has taught in each of the Graziadio School's MBA programs as well as in its undergraduate program. She began her legal career as a labor lawyer with a major California law firm. She is the former general counsel for two public companies, where in each case she was responsible for supervising all legal matters pertaining to the company. She served for several years as a staff theatrical production attorney for a major motion picture studio. Professor Weisdorn is a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar honors graduate of Columbia Law School (LL.M.) and graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law (JD). She holds an MBA with a finance concentration from Pepperdine University.
