Q&A: 2018 Rename

Pepperdine Graziadio Business School

What are we announcing?

Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management is officially now Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. The renaming to Pepperdine Graziadio Business School will be implemented throughout our school—across our digital landscape, on social media, throughout campus facilities, and in marketing collateral and promotional items. Together, we look forward to taking this important step to enhance our national recognition as Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Your partnership is instrumental in helping us make a smooth transition to this new name. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to pgbs.marketing@pepperdine.edu.

When will this take effect?

The renaming to Pepperdine Graziadio Business School will officially launch on March 19, 2018. We expect the implementation of the new name to be complete by August 1, 2018.

Why the name change?

This change will not only enable us to maintain our strong Pepperdine association and special connection to the Graziadio name, but it will also enhance how our brand is consistently referenced, and, perhaps most importantly, more accurately capture our efforts under one team with one vision of the future. It ensures consistency in our overall brand awareness, how our brand is referenced publicly, and maintains our strong Pepperdine association and special connection with the Graziadio name.

In what ways will we see this name change?

The Pepperdine Graziadio Business School will be implemented throughout our school—across our digital landscape, on social media, throughout campus facilities, commencement, and in marketing collateral and promotional items including business cards, stationery, and electronic signatures. Until that time, please expect to see the old wordmark on some materials and in other applications.
