Menglan Xu is currently a Master of Science in Global Business student at Graziadio
School of Business and Management. Menglan took her undergraduate degree in Electronic
Science and Technology in Tongji University, China. Menglan has worked in the marketing
department in Shanghai Xinyu Watch company.
Menglan is interested in setting business or organization strategy and she has the ability to control the carrying out process. She enjoys brainstorming new ideas and has the ability to select proper ones dealing with problems. Menglan has the leadership talent that she can look into people's potential abilities and simulating them out. As the president of CSSA, she has devoted a lot into building connections between Pepperdine International students and inside as well as outside of our university. She is willing to do her best for the organization to develop. Pepperdine University has awarded her excellent work both in academic performance and organization devotion by the Values Driven Leader Scholarship.
As one of the main leaders, she is able to build bridges among Activity, Finance,
Propaganda and Public Relations Departments, and better coordinate the activities
in CSSA with sufficient communication.
Lu Jin is an active participant and leader in the school's extracurricular activities, and she is able to successfully complete multiple tasks with favorable results despite deadline pressures. She is the director of the Chinese New Year gala, the most important event for Chinese international students with lots of performers and programs. She also participated in the 7th annual Hult Prize competition at Pepperdine University. Her team designed a Motorcycle Uber app which connects the motorcycle driver and the one who needs a ride in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. The app succeeded in doubling the income for 10 million people in these crowd urban. Because of Lu's outstanding performance in both academic and social activities, she won the Pepperdine Values Driven Leader Scholarship in 2016.

Chengjun Wan is pursuing a Master of Applied Finance at Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Informatics and Sciences from Nagoya University. The idea of becoming an entrepreneur was brought ever since he was little. After graduation from Nagoya University, he had run a startup online breakfast delivery service company which is funded by Cheetah Mobile Inc. Prior to Pepperdine, Chengjun had internship experience with BNP Paribas in Shanghai, China. In addition to serving as the President of Leading Waves, Chengjun is also the officer of Asian Business Club and a participating member of Finance Club. Upon graduation, he hopes to be an intermediary between business and capital, helping business succeed and grow as well as delivering value for the investors.
Chenjun Yang is a current student of the MSAF program at the Graziadio School of Business and Management. Prior to Pepperdine, he completed his bachelor degree at Hangzhou Dianzi University in Zhejiang, majoring in Financial Management. As an international student from China, he had an internship and full time job in BDO China Certified Public Accountant LLP. In August, 2015, Chenjun joined CSSA and became VP in 2016. After earning his master degree, he plans to pursue a career which could combine both business and finance.
Weibin Zhang is a current student in applied finance at Pepperdine University. Graduated from Tongji University in 2012, he has been working for CHS, one leader company in commodity trading. During these three years, Weibin contributed as trader, researcher and domestic logistical expeditor. Since Weibin took the position of leader in the public relations department, he has collected new connections with car-leasing/selling companies, restaurants, a barber shop, covering variety aspects of students' daily life.
Yuting Liu is a current student of Master of Science in Global Business at Graziadio School of Business and Management. Yuting got her bachelor's degree in University of San Francisco majoring in Economics, her knowledge in economics and finance has greatly empowered her to always approach any issue or problem systematically and in an organized manner. As an intern for China Life Insurance at Changchun, China, she had been consistently energized by opportunities in overcoming challenges as she continues to ensure that the company products receive the best representation in achieving new client acquisition and creating brand awareness through direct marketing efforts. Upon graduation, Yuting hopes to pursue a position in a commercial bank or luxury industry.
Alumni Connection and Communications Director
Rong Li is a MSAF candidate who will graduate in August 2016. What he is proud of is that he founded the Elite Chinese Alumni Center and led this organization into becoming one part of CSSA which is a great platform working for Chinese students. Rong has a plan to keep in touch with CSSA after he graduates from Pepperdine.
