Fall 2017-Spring 2018

To purchase a meal plan or to increase to a greater meal plan at any point in the semester, please email the Housing Office at housing@pepperdine.edu from your Pepperdine email account.

Students living in first-year residence halls are required to purchase a minimum meal plan of Waves 1735.

Students living in Rockwell Towers are required to purchase a minimum meal plan of Waves 1085. 

All fall meal points rollover into spring semester. All points remaining at the end of the Spring 2018 semester will expire. 

Meal point balances can be viewed via WaveNet under ID Card Deposit, as well at the cash registers in our dining areas.

The deadline to reduce or cancel meal plans is the Add/Drop deadline for each respective semester (September 1, 2017 at 5PM, January ).

Meal plan usage may not be available outside of the contract periods or during academic recesses.

Summer Meal Plans

Summer meal plans begin at housing check-in and expire on July 28, 2017.

Meal points rollover from one summer session to the next summer session. However, all unused summer points expire July 2017.

Meal Plan FAQs

Who can purchase a meal plan?

Any enrolled student is eligible to purchase a meal plan regardless of whether they live on campus. 

First-year residents living in the suite-style residence halls are required to purchase a minimum of the Waves 1675 plan or higher each semester.

Students living in sophomore housing are also assigned the Waves 1675 plan but are able to opt-down to purchase a minimum of Waves 1050 each semester. Apartment residents and commuter students may purchase any meal plan.

Non-residents interested in purchasing a meal plan should email housing@pepperdine.edu with their meal plan request.

Can I increase my meal plan?

Yes. Students may increase their meal plan at any point in the semester simply by sending an email to the Housing and Residence Life Office from their Pepperdine email account.

Can I decrease or cancel my meal plan?

Students may only decrease or cancel their meal plan before the add/drop deadline. First-year residents living in the suite-style residence halls may not decrease to a plan lower than the Waves 1675 plan. Students living in sophomore housing are are able to opt-down to purchase a minimum of the Waves 1050 plan each semester.

Do meal plan points "rollover?"

How is my meal plan billed?

Your meal plan is conveniently billed to your university Student Account.

What is Global Waves Cash?

Students may purchase Global Waves Cash at any time. Global Waves Cash is purchased at one point per dollar, and the points do not expire until the student graduates. 

How can I check the balance on my ID card?

The One Card Web Deposit is an online service designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with the convenience of depositing money on their Pepperdine ID card anywhere and anytime. Students, faculty and staff may deposit money to campus card accounts via credit card from the convenience of their own computers. Deposits made online are secure, and accounts are updated immediately.

The website allows users to:

  • Add money to the card
  • View account balance
  • View transaction history
  • Report lost or stolen card
