2015 TechQual Survey Results shed light on FY16 Technology Initiatives
Information Technology's (IT) major annual survey TechQual has been completed. Every year IT conducts the TechQual assessment of Pepperdine technology services and support. The feedback from this survey helps leadership set the division's fiscal initiatives every year, a planning process that has been followed since 2007.
The survey was sent to a random sample of 9,942 members of the Pepperdine community,
including faculty, staff and students; 2108 people completed the survey.
The 2015 results are displayed as a radar chart (see chart to the upper right). There are 15 spokes, which represent the 15 questions in the survey. Click here to see the questions. The yellow band represents users' zone of tolerance (minimum to desired service level). The blue band represents how well IT is meeting the minimum service level and the red band represents areas that fall below minimum expectations. IT will be looking closely into all areas of the survey, but will pay particular attention to those areas in red. After IT has set the new FY16 technology initiatives, IT's Leadership Council will present the project plans to the Provost and Vice Provost for approval.
Thank you to all who participated in this year's survey. All those who completed the survey were entered into a drawing for one of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards. Congratulations to the winners of the raffle drawing!
