Fall London Program Application
Congratulations on deciding to apply for the 2019 Fall London Law Program! Your journey begins here...
Pepperdine Students Eligibility
All Pepperdine law students who are in academic good standing, have no conduct or disciplinary issues or actions, are eligible to apply for the program.
No student is permitted to obtain more than one-third of his or her J.D. units in study outside the United States. This includes all forms of study in which students earn units, including, without limitation, coursework, externships, and study tours. This means that no student may earn more than 29 units (of the 88 units needed for earning the J.D. degree) in study outside the United States. On the London Program application form you are required to identify all forms of study outside the United States in which you have already earned units or will have earned units before beginning the London Program for which you are now applying. You must also give the number of units you intend to earn while studying in London this fall.
Application for program placement - Online form
Pepperdine students may submit their online application (see fields below) starting at 12:30 PM on February 4, 2019. Space is limited so do note that the date and time of receipt of the online application will determine the order of placement. Once capacity is reached all applications after that time will be placed on a wait list which will be revised after the deposit due date.
- As part of the application process, applicants must also send a scan of their passport to the London Program's Assistant Director, Karen Haygreen
Application for Fall London Law Externship
As described further at Externships FAQ, there are a limited number of externships available for Fall London Law Program participants. Please note that additional deadlines, application and immigration requirements apply for those students applying for an externship.
Externships are not guaranteed and, although the process is facilitated by the program officials, final externship determinations are made by the prospective employer.
Fall Program Deposit
A $500 deposit is due by March 5, 2019.*
Note: All students need to pay the deposit in a timely manner in order to hold their place. The deposit becomes non-refundable on April 5, 2019.
* The $500 deposit will be applied toward your London Program Activity Fee. If your deposit is not received on or before March 5, 2019, you will lose your placement. In paying your deposit through the Student Services section of WaveNet, click on the "Make a Payment" link and make the appropriate payment (deposit). You must pay all outstanding balances in order for the deposit to post to your student account. Once the payment is made, please send an e-mail from your Pepperdine e-mail account to Karen Haygreen, our London-based Assistant Director, notifying her that you paid your deposit. Please send the e-mail to Karen Haygreen with the subject line of "London Deposit."
It is important to keep your Personal Information (local address/phone) updated in WaveNet.
You will need a current passport that does not expire prior to the end of Fall 2019 semester.
