Tree Trimming Project Notification

The Department of Facilities Services will have the contractor, Brightview Tree Care Service, on campus performing tree trimming services at Lovernich Apartments, Caruso School of Law, John Tyler Drive, Mallman House. The work will be performed from 9 AM to 5 AM beginning August 1, 2022 and should be completed August 4, 2022.

We anticipate this work will have a minimal impact on the residents, staff, students, and visitors including the presence of vehicles parked around the residential halls, Lovernich Parking Lot, Caruso School of Law Parking Lot, John Tyler Drive and the Firestone Fieldhouse (FFH) Parking Lot, and on the street near the Mallman House. In addition, there is the potential for moderate noise coming from chain saws and grinding equipment which will be located near the worksite. Building visitors and occupants may notice workers near the area. The contractor will have service vehicles parked on the street and a few parking spots. The area where the tree trimming is located will be inaccessible while the work is being performed. Safety cones and traffic control will be placed around the work area to deter vehicle/pedestrian traffic.
