The Pepperdine University Center for Faith and Learning invites faculty and staff members to partake in a lecture at Drescher Graduate Campus in Malibu, followed by a special trip to the exhibit “Vatican Splendors: A Journey Through Faith and Art” at Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, on Wednesday, May 18, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM.

The lecture will be presented by Michael Zakian, adjunct history professor and director of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art. Participants will then be shuttled to the Reagan Library to explore the 10,000 square foot exhibition, which will showcase pieces from Michelangelo, Bernini, Guercino, as well as other famous artists. Displayed works will include mosaics, frescoes, Renaissance paintings, sculptures, embroidered silk vestments, uniforms, and historical maps and documents.

Transportation, museum tickets, and meals will be provided for the first 25 staff and faculty members that register through the Pepperdine University Google Form.
