Glazer Institute to Observe Jewish High Holidays with Virtual Event

In celebration of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and the Ten Days of Awe between them during the Hebrew month of Tishrei, the Diane and Guilford Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies at Pepperdine University will host the event, “High Holy Days: A Time to Reflect,” on the Zoom platform on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:30 PM PDT. 

The event, which will feature Kenny Ellis, cantor at Temple Beth Ami in Santa Clarita, California, will explore the meanings, traditions, songs, and food of this special time in the Jewish religion.
