Club Convo Program

The Club Convo program is a small group program that is discussion-based, made up of 10-15 students, and is led by a faculty, staff member, or student leader. Each Club Convo is different, as they focus on a particular Christian topic or issue which is chosen by its leader.   This results in a diverse array of options, and students can expect that they will discover various perspectives of Christian faith.  These small groups seek to empower intentional and formative faith-based conversations.  Club Convos also seek to build students' relationships with each other, and encourage a strong connection between faith and particular moral or ethical issues presented in our world today.

Club Convo Leaders

The Club Convo program's strength is found in its leaders.  Leaders are drawn from every part of the Pepperdine community to help make club convos happen.  Because of the desire for unique and intentional interactions on campus, we encourage students, staff and faculty to submit proposals for club convos.

Are you:

  • Passionate about students and their growth?
  • Interested in furthering the spiritual development of others?
  • Compassionate about the needs of students?

Then... come alongside the Office of the Chaplain and lead students in a small group environment.  Members of the Pepperdine community who are interested in leading a club convo should inquire about the possibility fo participating by coming to the Chaplain's Office or filling out the online proposal forms.
