Spiritual Mentoring Policies

    1. Students will be paired with mentors (Pepperdine faculty/staff member who has volunteered to be an available mentor to students), based upon availability.
    2. Each pair meets 45 minutes to an hour, one to four times a semester. This time can be used to talk about faith, God, life — anything comfortable and appropriate within a spiritually focused mentor/mentee relationship.
    3. Students are allowed to meet with only one mentor a semester for convocation credit.
    4. The deadline for new mentor/mentee pairings is October 30th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
    5. Each mentor must fill out and submit the Spiritual Mentoring Record for Convocation Credit by December 6th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Please note the following important information about this form:

Spiritual Mentoring Credit will be granted based on the number of meetings recorded and submitted by the mentor — up to 4 credits.
