Visa Information
Visa Information for Students
A visa is a passport stamp or document that authorizes the passport holder to enter a country for a specific purpose and particular period of time. Every country has different visa policies and arrangements with every other country. A Spanish Study visa is required for all students who will be studying in Spain for more than 90 days (unless you are a citizen of the European Union). The category of visa that semester students should apply for is a Long-Term Student Visa, which permits individuals to study in Spain for over 90 days. Please note that there are more time-sensitive requirements for students who are on a semester program and an Academic Year program. Instructions and deadlines will be provided to you, and you will need to adhere to the deadlines to successfully obtain a visa.
