The Religion Program

Students will study religion in London. Their educational field trip will take them to Greece.

Tuition: $1,685.00 per unit (standard Malibu summer tuition rate)

Room & Board: $2,248.00 

Course Requirements

6 unit minimum requirement. Students must take both REL 102 and REL 301.

REL 102 New Testament in Context (3)

GE: Christianity & Culture; Prerequisite: REL 101

  • Literary, historical, and theological study of the New Testament writings, with attention to their origins in the Early Jewish and Greco-Roman world and their subsequent influence.

REL 301 Christianity and Culture (3)

GE: Christianity & Culture; Prerequisite: REL 101

  • A study of ways in which Christianity shapes such aspects of culture as art, literature, music, medicine, law, secularization, ecology, racial and ethnic issues, and education, and ways in which these, in turn, influence Christian life and faith.
