Complete Spanish language courses and GE's in one summer while living with an Argentine family and being immersed in the Latin culture.

Glazer Human Rights Program

Join Pepperdine's Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies as you learn about involuntarily dispersed communities in Buenos Aires, Argentina - SAAJ students encouraged.

Siderman Human Rights Internship Program

A new program with Pepperdine's Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies where students will intern with Human Rights organizations in Buenos Aires. Must be a SAAJ student to attend.

Lausanne Upper Division French

Spend 8 weeks in scenic Switzerland taking two french language classes in an intensive format where you will only speak in french. Classes are taught by both Malibu faculty and Swiss faculty; second month will be spent in a Swiss homestay.

Study literature and history in the city where some of the world's greatest literary works were written, and where history comes alive.  The visiting faculty for Summer 2016 will be President Andrew K. Benton.

Summer Special Interest Programs

australia

Australia Film

Journey down under to spend 4 weeks at a Sydney Film school while exploring media production and getting hands on experience as a part of student production team. This program is for Film Studies/Media Production majors.

spain

Camino De Santiago

Start your own spiritual journey, beginning with a cultural and historical experience in and around Madrid, followed by a 517-mile pilgrimage through the northern part of Spain.

East Africa

East Africa

Visit Uganda and Rwanda while finishing your Religion requirement and taking a Communications course.

scotland

Edinburgh Theatre 

A troupe experience in Scotland, with the first month in Glasgow studying and rehearsing, with the second month spent in Edinburgh performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Fiji

Fiji Mission at Natuvu Creek

Live on the shoreline of this beautiful island while assisting and serving daily at the Mission at Natuvu Creek.

London

London Harry Potter Program

Dive into the incredible world of Harry Potter that has enchanted children and adults for nearly 20 years, with London as a stunning backdrop to the bestselling series.

Summer Internship Programs

Internship programs will have a slightly different application and selection process. 

After you submit your application, within three business days, you must email your current resume to Amy.Brinkerhoff@pepperdine.edu.  If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by our office within five business days of receiving your resume and application to sign up for an interview time.  If you are not selected, we will also send you an email to let you know that you are not being considered at this time.  Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview.

In addition to the normal International Programs application criteria, your acceptance into an internship program will also take the following things into consideration:

  • Work and internship experience
  • Intercultural experience
  • Fit and availability of the internship placements
