Pepperdine Partners with National Center for Faculty Diversity and Development
Pepperdine University will officially begin its membership to the National Center for Faculty Diversity and Development (NCFDD) on January 31. As an institutional member, Pepperdine faculty will gain access to the NCFDD’s virtual repository of faculty development resources including monthly webinars, writing challenges, and weekly motivators.
NCFDD is a nationally recognized, independent organization providing online professional development, training, and mentorship to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students at more than 450 colleges and universities across the nation. The programs are specially designed to support scholars in harnessing research productivity while protecting work-life balance.
Pepperdine’s membership was made possible through the support of Pepperdine provost Jay Brewster, Seaver College dean Michael Feltner, and Seaver College associate dean Kindy DeLong.
