Employment Information Sessions are the only way to become eligible for student employment with Campus Recreation. The half hour meeting will detail Campus Recreation's hiring procedures and available positions. In general, hiring and training take place the semester before work begins. Therefore, if you hope to start working in the spring, be sure to attend an information session in the late fall.

The Event Supervisor is responsible for field preparations, event set-ups, concurrent event management, and event take-down...
The Fitness Monitor is responsible for the supervision of the fitness facilities and its patrons. Monitors are also responsible for opening, closing, and securing the facilities.
Instructors are responsible for developing individual lesson plans, being familiar with various styles of class formats offered, supervising class participants, and leading instructional sessions.
The Media Specialist is responsible for creating and supporting the graphics need for Campus Recreation’s promotional materials.Additionally, this role will assist with updating the department's website, calendars and Facebook page.
Intramural Sports Officials are responsible for providing an atmosphere of fun in a competitive, yet safe, environment. Officials must be able to implement Intramural Sports policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety.
The Outdoor Trip Leader is responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive outdoor trips/clinics/classes program for Campus Recreation; such as backpacking, rock-climbing, skiing, kayaking and hiking.
Responsible for the rental of all outdoor gear and informal recreation equipment. Will learn to repair gear and the sues for all the equipment.
Student Supervisor is responsible for opening, closing, and securing the facilities. They are also responsible for the appropriate use and cleanliness of all equipment.
Student Manager and Leadership Positions
Student Manager, Fitness
This position is responsible for scheduling and evaluating Fitness Monitors. He or she is responsible for planning staff meetings and workshops and assisting in maintaining the Harilela International Tennis Stadium Fitness Studio.
Student Manager, Intramural Sports
This position serves as part of a student leadership team that is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive intramural sports program.
Student Manager, Outdoor Recreation
This position is responsible for managing student outdoor trip leaders, teaching staff camping and outdoor skills, planning adventure trips and local hikes. He or she is responsible for planning staff meetings and assisting with the Outdoor Recreation budget.
Student Manager, Weight Center
This position is responsible for scheduling and evaluating Weight Center Supervisors. He or she is responsible for planning staff meetings and assisting in maintaining the Firestone Fieldhouse Weight Center and Drescher Fitness Center.
Student Manager, Equipment Shack
This position is responsible for scheduling and managing student staff in the equipment shack. He or she is responsible for planning staff meetings and assisting in maintaining the Equipment Shack and all gear.
