Join the Tri-Alpha Honor Society

Pepperdine University invites faculty members to join Alpha Alpha Alpha (or Tri-Alpha) honor society, which recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students.

Interested faculty must complete the online application and submit a one-time membership fee of $25 to become a lifetime member of Tri-Alpha. The application deadline is February 23, 2024. New faculty and student inductees will be recognized during our inaugural induction ceremony and reception at 6:00 pm on March 19, 2024. New members will also receive a certificate and pin signifying membership. Please contact studentsuccesscenter@pepperdine with any questions.

*To qualify, faculty must have met the definition of a first-generation student (students whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) have not obtained a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university) at the time they completed their bachelor's degree. Faculty and staff must also be willing to serve as informal mentors for first-generation students.
