Register for Founder's Day 2023 Event
On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Pepperdine celebrates its 87th academic year with a Founder's Day 2023 event.
This year’s event will be an opportunity for the Pepperdine community to come together to honor George Pepperdine’s vision and hear his University’s unique story. President Jim Gash (JD '93) will proclaim the theme for the new year—”Light”—which represents forging ahead into the new year with energy and a renewed sense of purpose, and will be symbolized with the ceremonial lighting of the lantern.
Join the celebrations at Firestone Fieldhouse on Wednesday, September 20, at 10 AM. Light refreshments will be served in the courtyard afterward. Shuttles will be available for attendees from the West Los Angeles campus. Reserve your seat on the shuttle by contacting Kenisha Danley at Kenisha.Danley@pepperdine.edu. A live stream will be available for those unable to attend in person.
