Register for Screening of Documentary Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom

The Pepperdine Graziadio Business School invites the Pepperdine community for a virtual screening of scenes from the multi-award-winning documentary Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, noon to 1:15 PM PT.

Hear from the film’s producer and host, Rasool Berry, as he shares his journey through Texas and engages with descendants of those emancipated from slavery on June 19, 1865. Berry serves as teaching pastor at the Bridge Church in Brooklyn, New York and as the director of partnerships and content development with Our Daily Bread Ministries. Joining the discussion will be alumnus and current DBA candidate Andre Campbell (MBA ‘18, PKE 139), chief strategy officer at Neowe Research and Development Inc. and current MBA student and president of the Graziadio Black Student Association Lauren Turner Dunn, associate producer for CBS News.

Juneteenth’s legacy of overcoming adversity encourages today’s business leaders to forge ahead with innovation and a renewed dedication to social responsibility. Register for the documentary screening on the Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom event page.
