Register for the William M. Green Distinguished Christian Scholar Lecture with Douglas A. Foster
The Pepperdine Libraries' Rushford Center for Research on the Churches of Christ is pleased to welcome Douglas A. Foster, professor emeritus of theology at Abilene Christian University, as the speaker for the 46th annual William M. Green Distinguished Christian Scholar Lecture on Wednesday, September 30, from 11:45 AM – 1:30 PM in the Surfboard Room in Payson Library.
Foster has authored numerous publications examining the history of the Stone-Campbell Movement, including The Story of Churches of Christ and, most recently, A Life of Alexander Campbell, (published in 2020). The latter is the subject of his talk, which is titled The Brilliance and Betrayal of Alexander Campbell's Biblical Method.
Everyone is welcome to attend the lecture, but seating is limited and registration is required. Lunch will be served during the event, and everyone will receive one free copy of A Life of Alexander Campbell.
