Register for Training and Workshops in Generative AI

This summer, staff and faculty are invited to strengthen their AI skills with TechLearn, IT Training, and in the Pepperdine Libraries Genesis Lab by attending online and in-person AI training sessions and events. Upcoming sessions and events include - 

• *NEW* AI Exploration Hours for Educators (In-Person) – Try out popular AI tools and ask questions for TechLearn and the Genesis Lab with no special accounts or registration needed.
  • Malibu: Payson Library Genesis Lab, May 9, 2024, and 21, 9 AM-4 PM.
  • West LA: WLA 109, May 13 and 29, 2024, 9 AM-3 PM.
• AI Office Hours with IT Training (Virtual) – Join IT Training in May for personalized guidance on using generative AI tools. Register once to receive the AI Office Hours Zoom link and attend any of the multiple days and times available!
• Generative AI Essentials Training with IT Training (Virtual) – In this 1-hour training session on May 9 or June 25, 2024, participants will dive into the fundamentals of generative AI prompts, perfect for beginners and those looking to refresh their knowledge.
• *NEW* Practical Applications of Generative AI Training with IT Training (Virtual) – In this 1-hour training session on May 30 or June 26, 2024, participants will learn prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI outputs, experiment with strategies for refining AI-generated text, and explore best practices for responsible data protection.
