GSEP Professor Dr. Abraham Song Published in Small Business Economics Journal

Assistant Professor at GSEP, Dr. Abraham Song, has co-authored a paper, "The evolution of the global digital platform economy: 1971–2021" which has now been published in a peer-reviewed journal Small Business Economics. 

The study carefully documents the arrival of the information technology revolution and finds that countries that did not promote new firms fell behind in adopting the new technologies. Relating this back to education is the importance of digital proficiency and the workforce development programs that emphasize skills and training for the digital age.
