Volunteers Needed for Voices United: Ending Silence Together

Join GSEP student Alexander Escobar as a volunteer at Haven Hills' first annual sexual assault awareness health fair Voices United: Ending Silence Together for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The event takes place on April 21, 2024, from 11-3 PM at Pierce College. You can register as a volunteer by contacting Eliana Panadian by email or by calling (818) 887-7481.

The fair will include a mobile health clinic, community organizations, food trucks, games, a DJ, and more.

Wear Your Denim: Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April every year and encourages people to wear jeans or other clothing items made of denim as a symbol of protest against sexual assault, to combat victim blaming, and to educate others on sexual violence
