Advent Service and Reception | December 2

An Advent service and reception will be hosted by Pepperdine University Office of the Chaplain and Human Resources on Friday, December 2 at 8:45 AM. 

Join colleagues in a time of hopeful anticipation in the season of Advent. During this busy season, our most important preparations will happen as we welcome God into into our lives, and “prepare the way of the Lord.” 

Human Resources and the Office of the Chaplain invite you to reflect on the meaning of this season through scripture readings, prayer, and singing.

The service will be held in Stauffer Chapel starting at 8:45 AM. A reception located on The Light House Patio will follow the service. Refreshments will be provided.

"Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel," which means, "God is with us" (Matthew 1:23).
