Campus Storm Drain Project Notification

The Department of Facilities Services will have a contractor, Candu Plumbing, on campus performing campus storm drain maintenance services adjacent to Presidents Drive, School of Law, Student Assistance Center and Student Housing. The work will be performed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from January 10, 2023 through January 13, 2023. We anticipate this work will have an impact on the residents, staff, students, and visitors; including the presence of vehicles parked along Presidents Drive, School of Law, Student Assistance Center and Student Housing.

In addition, there is the potential for moderate noise coming from vactor truck equipment and workers operating the equipment which will be located near each worksite. The contractor will have service vehicles parked on the street and a few parking spots. The area where the storm drain maintenance is located will be inaccessible while the work is being performed. Safety cones and traffic control will be placed around the work area to deter vehicle/pedestrian traffic.
