COVID-19 Requirements for Spring 2022
Our highest priority at Caruso Law is to deliver a high quality educational experience
while also doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our community.
Because of your diligent compliance with COVID-19 protocols throughout the fall semester,
we were able to hold most classes on campus, and we hope to continue to do so this
spring.
In light of current local COVID-19 numbers, the University sent an email on December 31, 2021, detailing updated COVID-19 safety requirements and dates for the spring semester.
For your reference, this information is summarized as follows:
- All new students must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an exemption.
- To reduce positive COVID-19 cases on campus, all students must complete a COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours before arriving on campus. Students may take a PCR or antigen test at a healthcare provider or testing site, or use an at-home test. After testing, students must enter their test results into the Spring 2022 Entry Test Reporting Form. (If results are positive, see below.)
- Before attending class on campus, obtain a PCR test at a Pepperdine testing site on Saturday, January 8 or Monday, January 10.
- Winter intensive classes taking place this week will be held online. Spring semester classes starting next week will be held online January 10 to Wednesday, January 12. We are expecting to resume on-campus classes on Thursday, January 13.
- Wear a mask inside at all times.
- Going forward, get a screening test every week at a Pepperdine testing site.
- Online Programs students attending residencies or study tours this year will receive additional information.
If any test results are positive, please do not come to campus. Fill out the Spring 2022 Entry Test Reporting Form and contact the Student Health Center at 310.506.4316, option 3. Information about
the Caruso Law absence policy is included in the Spring 2022 Course Disclosures and Guidelines.
With your help, we aim to return to on-campus operation as soon as possible. If you
have any questions, please contact the University’s COVID-19 Information Line at 310.506.8111
or via email at covid19info@pepperdine.edu.
