Dean's Speaker Series: Professor John Inazu | October 26

The October speaker in the 2023-2024 Dean's Speaker Series is John Inazu, Sally D. Danforth Distinguished Professor of Law & Religion at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  

Professor Inazu will speak on Thursday, October 26th at 12:40 pm in Classroom D. Lunch will be provided.

Professor Inazu’s scholarship focuses on the First Amendment freedoms of speech, assembly, and religion, and related questions of legal and political theory. His books include Liberty’s Refuge: The Forgotten Freedom of Assembly (Yale University Press, 2012) and Confident Pluralism: Surviving and Thriving Through Deep Difference (University of Chicago Press, 2016). He was co-editor with Tim Keller of Uncommon Ground: Living Faithfully in a World of Difference (Thomas Nelson, 2020).

At the Dean’s Speaker Series, Professor Inazu will discuss his forthcoming book,  Learning to Disagree: The Surprising Path to Navigating Differences with Empathy and Respect (Zondervan, 2024).
