SPP First-Years: Please Declare Your MPP Specialization!
By declaring your specialization now, we will know how many and what type of elective classes to offer for the Spring 2024 Term, and this also allows you to track your degree audit progress in Wavenet.
To declare your specialization, you must fill out this Google Form with your Pepperdine Email Account: https://forms.gle/9akujXPxmeCs1dYx9
Our specialization tracks include:
- Applied Economic Policy
- American Policy and Politics
- International Relations and National Security
- Public Policy and Dispute Resolution*
- State and Local Policy
*NOTE: limited spaces are available to pursue the Dispute Resolution (DR) specialization.
Final approval will not be granted until the conclusion of the Fall 2023 Term once the committee has reviewed “DR” applications and Fall grades. The deadline and link to apply for the DR specialization will be announced later. You may declare up to two specializations unless you are a joint/dual degree student then, you may only pursue one area of specialization.
Thank you for completing your specialization(s) selections by September 29, 2023. Reach out to CJ Jones, at christopher.j.jones@pepperdine.edu with any questions.
