Alumni/Student Mentor Program with Mentor Collective

Recognizing the importance of mentoring as part of your professional development, the School of Public Policy is excited to partner with Mentor Collective for the 2023-2024 academic year to offer a mentoring program, matching SPP alumni with our new and returning students. Navigating the delicate balancing act of graduate school, planning your career goals, and learning to network inside and around the policy world can be overwhelming. However, through this specialized partnership, alumni who have been in your shoes can provide guidance, support, and encouragement.

Here's how Mentor Collective works:

1. Students and alumni mentors each complete a survey about themselves and their backgrounds;

2. Mentor Collective matches students with alumni mentors based on similar interests/backgrounds and what's important to you;

3. Once matched, the mentee/mentor decides how (i.e. email, phone, video chat, text, in-person, etc...) and how often (i.e. weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, etc...) you want to connect.

Please use your Pepperdine.edu email when signing up. New students to Mentor Collective will want to complete first-time registration as requested. Second years, you must also sign up for Mentor Collective for your second year. We strongly suggest ALL students sign up for this critical mentorship initiative.
