Attend Career Talk with Renowned Shoe Designer Stuart Weitzman
On Monday, November 4, from 5 to 6:30 PM at the Payson Library's Surfboard Room, Pepperdine Libraries and the Seaver College Career Center invites the community to attend a talk with renowned shoe designer Stuart Weitzman. Weitzman will share his insights on life and career goals, with a focus on entrepreneurship, creativity, and community. Drawing from his 60-year journey in the shoe-making industry, he will offer valuable advice, much like in his previous college talks. Weitzman's career began in the early 1960s, designing shoes for his father's company, and he gained widespread recognition when Aretha Franklin thanked him for her custom heels at the 1983 American Music Awards. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from an industry icon.
Registration is free. Students can also apply to be one of 10 students chosen to attend an exclusive dinner with Stuart Weitzman immediately following the presentation.
