Attend Seaver College Research and Scholarly Achievement Symposium
The Office of the Vice Provost invites Seaver students to participate in the Seaver College Research and Scholarly Achievement Symposium (SCRSAS). This annual event serves to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of student scholars and the productive relationships they have developed with their faculty mentors across a wide range of academic disciplines and creative projects. Increasingly, Seaver College students are working side-by-side with faculty mentors to be co-creators of new knowledge, music, or art. Learning at Seaver College no longer just occurs in the classroom but also in the laboratory, art studio, museum, library, on the stage, in the field, and at locations all around the world.
At this event Seaver students will be recognized for their participation in various research programs, scholarship, and other creative or expressive works in the last year. The sessions will include an art exhibition, poster presentations, musical performances, and oral presentations. Much like a professional conference, multiple sessions will run concurrently. We look forward to celebrating the scholarly achievements at this student showcase.
See the Symposium schedule below:
- 1:00–2:00 PM | Art Exhibition and Poster Presentation Session (Waves Cafe)
- 2:15–4:15 PM | Oral Presentation Sessions and Musical Performances (Plaza Classrooms and Weisman Museum)
