Completion of Accreditation Special Visit

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment is pleased to announce the successful completion of the WSCUC accreditation Special Visit in spring 2025, which culminated in the receipt of the final Commission Action Letter. This positive outcome confirms Pepperdine’s full reaffirmation through 2031. While official preparations, including the formation of committees and the development of the institutional report addressing all standards, are scheduled to commence in fall 2028, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment is continuously addressing requirements and consistently integrating deliverables into our processes to meet the accreditor’s Standards and 41 Criteria for Review (CFRs).

In the interim, a new, smaller committee will be established in early fall 2025 to focus on delivering a progress report in March 2027 concerning two specific issues outlined in the letter.
