Enjoy an Evening with Makoto and Haejin Shim Fujimura

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the Stauffer Chapel, see a talk by internationally renowned artist and writer Makoto Fujimura on the occasion of his solo exhibition at Pepperdine's Weisman Museum of Art. His talk, "Water Flames and Sea Beyond," will be followed by a short film and presentation by his wife, lawyer, and CEO of Embers International, Haejin Shim Fujimura, who will speak about their transformative work integrating their Christian faith. After a Q&A, guests will be invited to join a public reception. No registration is required and the event is co-sponsored by the Nootbaar Institute on Law, Religion, and Ethics at Caruso School of Law, the Weisman Museum, and the Office of the Chaplain.
