Honor Society for Disabled Students Established on Seaver Campus

Seaver College and the Office of Student Accessibility (OSA) are proud to announce the inaugural Iota Gamma chapter of Delta Alpha Pi (DAPi), the leading national disability honor society. The society was established in March, 2024, through the efforts of current Seaver students Katherine Hsu and Thalia Markowski and OSA.

22 Seaver students were inducted in a ceremony in a Black Plaza Classroom with faculty member Jaz Gray as the featured speaker. "We are delighted that the academic success of our undergraduate disabled student community is now officially recognized, " says Sandra Harrison, executive director of OSA. Graduating members of the honor society proudly wore DAPi cords at the recent Seaver College commencement.

The society will join Seaver's Inter-Club Council in fall 2024.
