Join a Panel Discussion on John Barton's New Book "Better Religion: A Primer for Interreligious Peacebuilding"

On Friday, February 3, 2023, at Noon, the Center for Faith and Learning (CFL) in partnership with Pepperdine Libraries will celebrate the publication of CFL director John Barton's new book, Better Religion: A Primer for Interreligious Peacebuilding in the Payson Library Surfboard Room. The panel discussion will include a brief summary of the book by Barton and welcome responses from Rachel Gould, Seaver College visiting professor of English; Sukhsimranjit Singh, the Judge Danny Weinstein managing director of the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Caruso School of Law; and Michal Meulenberg, Seaver College adjunct professor of religion. The panel will be moderated by Jennifer A. Smith, associate director of the Center for Faith and Learning and Seaver College associate professor of English.

The panel discussion is free for everyone to attend and will be followed by a reception. The first 25 individuals to register will receive a free copy of the book at the event. RSVP on the event website.
