Pepperdine Libraries Presents Chamber Music in Payson Library

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at noon in the Payson Library, Pepperdine Libraries will kick off a new concert series featuring performances by our talented students and faculty. The inaugural concert, titled "An Inaugural Celebration of French Impressionism in Music" and curated by professor Barry Tan, showcases the luminous works of Debussy, Ravel, Boulanger, and Fauré.

Audiences will be treated to an intimate program of chamber ensembles, evocative solo piano pieces, and expressive art songs, each chosen to highlight the elegance, nuance, and emotional depth that define this remarkable era of music. French-inspired refreshments will be served.
