Pepperdine Men's Basketball Home Opener to Serve as Memorial Fundraiser

The Pepperdine men's basketball team will honor the memory of Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir, and Deslyn Williams at the home opener Monday, November 6, 2023. All proceeds from the game will go toward the Memorial Fund, which supports families, friends, and the broader Pepperdine community.

According to the University website, this fund is a testament to the love and compassion of our Pepperdine community, and it is our collective opportunity to make a meaningful impact on all who are affected by this profound loss. The fund will also support the Pepperdine community now and in the future, with the hope of establishing memorials and scholarships in the victims' honor.

Tip off is scheduled for 7 PM in Firestone Fieldhouse as Pepperdine hosts Concordia Irvine to begin the 2023-24 season. All ticket sales will benefit the memorial fund.

Pepperdine faculty, staff, and students can show their Pepperdine IDs for free entry and are encouraged to donate online. For those unable to attend, donations can be made on the Pepperdine student memorial webpage.
