Register for Biblical Perspectives on Freedom: A Conversation with Ron Highfield
On Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from noon to 1 PM in the Surfboard Room at the Payson Library, join the University community for a deep exploration of this year's presidential theme, "Freedom," featuring Ron Highfield, professor of religion at Seaver College. In collaboration with the Office of the President, Highfield will present insights from his extensive scholarship in the area of spiritual freedom, including perspectives from his book, God, Freedom, and Human Dignity.
The lecture will be followed by a dialogue between Highfield and Laura Locke Estes, assistant professor of religion at Seaver College, which will be moderated by president Jim Gash. This engaging conversation will kick off the academic year with a thoughtful examination of biblical perspectives on freedom. Lunch will be provided.
